Chapter 26 [Zoda's Ambition]
------------

Zoda betrays Black Shadow, tired of his arrogance. After getting caught, the traitorous Zoda has Reactor Might inserted into his body by Black Shadow, and is then abandoned in Mute City. He wanders the city aimlessly.

Rick and his comrades, looking for the Reactor Might out in the city, fail to notice Zoda in his changed form. When Zoda realizes this, the Reactor Might responds to his repressed anger and changes him into a monster. Surrounded by an evil aura, Zoda climbs into the Death Anchor bent on destruction.

The Galaxy Mobile Platoon seems powerless to stop him, but Rick still wants to challenge his long-time rival to finally settle the score. The powered-up Zoda, however, is too strong for him.

As Rick is cornered, Zoda's body begins to change again. Unable to withstand this increased power, his body withers. As Zoda desperately struggles to escape in this weak state, Black Shadow suddenly appears. Black Shadow, in imitation of Rick and Captain Falcon's "Boost Fire", uses his own "Black Fire" technique. This technique creates a hole in space itself, causing Zoda to fall into it.

Rick is astonished. What was that mysterious technique and why did it imitate their own "Boost Fire"? There are many questions now left unanswered.
